One of the worst things you can do as a sports fan is blaming the officials for the lost. It is immature and what a teenager does when his or her team loses the game. Officials can still contribute to a team losing. They can definitely a supporting actor in the film about this football game. On Thursday night, the officials found a way to put themselves front and center in this game with pass interference being the focal point. The officials refused to overturn an obvious PI versus the Eagles early in the game then didn’t even bother reviewing the final play of the game when there was obvious pass interference.

I said in my tweet but will follow up with it here, NFL made their officials have a way to play God with this new rule. They can decide the outcomes of the game because teams are mostly throwing the ball down the field when they’re trailing in the final minute. It is garbage to not at least look at that. I get they want the players to win the game, but you’ve set a precedent now, live with it.
