Jabari Parker & Ray Allen Together Hits Me in the Feels
It’s great to see the young and old come together when sports involved. We love to see when alumni Packers players return to Lambeau Field, or when they’re talking to some of the star players of the team. Same goes for the Brewers with Robin Yount and others visiting through Miller Park. But we’ve only started to see it happen more with Milwaukee Bucks’ legends. The 50th anniversary season shined a good light on some of the Bucks greats, and we saw another one workout with a present-day Bucks player. Ray Allen spent some time working with Jabari Parker, and that’s a very exciting thing to see.
Allen hasn’t made an official return to Milwaukee post-retirement. In fact, he didn’t do in Miami or Boston either. He’s an interesting cat to say the least with some skeletons with the Celtics’ faithful. Milwaukee is more of the fact that the team turned his back on him and shockingly dealt him for Gary Payton to appease a power-hungry coach. The healing period is a long one, but I hope Allen can find his way back to Milwaukee. My guess is the Bucks are going to try and get all of the Bucks legends together for the opening of the new arena in October.
