Javy Baez Complaining About Someone Celebrating is Rich
Javy Baez is one of the most electrifying players in baseball. I’m not going to lie. He would be a fun player to have on any team. There are games where he crushes a massive home run, and there are other games where he strikes out a bunch. Baez can do on defense too or any of his great slides into bases. That said, it’s the pot calling the kettle black when he gets upset over another player celebrating. In this case, Amir Garrett from the Cincinnati Reds. Baez has absolutely no right to be mad or frustrated at somebody celebrating. Here’s what he said after the Chicago Cubs lost to the Cincinnati Reds in extras with a 6-5 loss. This caused the benches to clear because Baez is a fucking man baby.
Baez admittedly was frustrated, took blame for jogging to 1st on grounder, but thought combo of Garrett yelling and staring was too much. Baez pointed out he hit slam off Garrett last year

Amir Garrett strikes out Javy Baez, words are exchanged, then the Reds & Cubs benches clear.

Baez pointing out what he did last year against a pitcher is fuckboi shit. Like that’s the type of stuff that rubs me the wrong way. Like cool dude, you got him that one time. People have hit homers off plenty of pitchers in the past. The past is over. You grounded out in the 10th inning, therefore, you lost that round. When you hit the homer off Amir, Javy won that round. It’s pretty simple to see how this sort of thing works for either team’s favor.
Baez remains ice cold for the month of May after starting out so hot. The Cubs second baseman only has two hits in his last five games.
