Kawhi Leonard’s Buzzer-Beater Sends Toronto to ECF
Round 2 of the NBA Playoffs came to a close on Sunday night. Toronto Raptors and Philadelphia 76ers played a hard-fought, low-scoring classic Game 7 that will be remembered for some time. With no time left, Kawhi Leonard hit a buzzer-beater that bounced five times then in for the victory. It was incredible. Watching on my phone, I yelped during Game of Thrones. It was an incredible shot. The degree of difficulty was very high yet it did not see to bother Kawhi. This adds to the memorable second round of the playoffs which might go down as one of the best ever.

As a Bucks fan, I’m terrified of late-game Kawhi. There I said it and feel okay about saying it. He is an absolute killer. One of the most clutch players in the NBA, and one that does not seem to miss many of those late game shots. Toronto-Milwaukee will be a very fun series that could go the distance. It will be intense from the start of Game 1 until the end of the series.
Does my heart break for Philly? Not really. Those guys are assholes, and it is hard for me to cry for them. Sure, it is one of the worst ways to lose a sporting event. But it is also probably karma for taunting Bears fans about double-doink jokes all winter. I know if that happened to my team, I probably would have blacked out by the end of Thrones.
