Khris Middleton’s Clutch Shot-Making Greatness Can Be Explained With One Image
Khris Middleton should get a new nickname for next year. Clutch Khris sounds about right. We cannot use the ‘K’ because that’s how Rich Paul files a lawsuit against us. There aren’t many guys in the league that are as good as Middleton is when it comes to clutch baskets. I don’t know about y’all but when Middleton has the ball late in games, there is no one I trust more on the Bucks. It always feels like it’s going in with him. In these playoffs, he has shown out in these late-game situations, but maybe we’ve undervalued it. Look at this graphic about Middleton making shots to go ahead or tie the game in the fourth quarter.
Middleton is a complete stud. The fact that his late-game shot-making ability is on par with 2007 LeBron James is absurd. Considering that James had no one on his roster. He was the only guy that could even make shots, so, James carried his guys to an NBA Finals. Middleton is not doing the same. He has Giannis Antetokounmpo and Jrue Holiday. I’ve said on the podcast before that Giannis and Khris are the modern-day Shaq and Kobe. It might be a wild take but if you think about what they do on a basketball court, it’s very reminiscence even if it seems out of bounds.
