Packers Fans, Stop Caring About the NFL 100

NFL 100 does not matter. Say that with me again, the ‘NFL 100 doesn’t matter.’ All the NFL 100 is a content-driving machine for the National Football League and everyone else that covers football. It usually comes at the perfect time of the sports calendar for dumb sports debates. There is only baseball going on, we’re all itching for football, and boom, NFL 100 comes out for us to all get mad about. This year, it is completely different. Basketball and hockey start up this weekend with baseball chugging along. There is no need to care about this silly thing. Warren Sharp does a great job explaining why this is not worth your time.
People are mad about the NFL top 100?
They're just now realizing it's bad?
In their first year doing it, they had QB Josh Freeman at 86
Next year, Tim Tebow at 95
Hell, they had RB DeMarco Murray at NUMBER 4 OVERALL in 2015!!
Players & fans: stop caring about that nonsense

Is it cool that Za’Darius Smith is considered part of the top 50? Yes. But it is also bullshit that Davante Adams and David Bakhtiari are in the 55-65 range? Also yes. All these things are a big circle jerk by the team’s social media account and the NFL itself. It is too bad that the NFL can’t come up with a better system for this type of thing. But in all honesty, they don’t care because it does the job that it is supposed to do. Get the fans talking, debate rankings, and drive attention.
