Packers Having One of the ‘Worst Offseasons’ Forgets About Players Not Named Rodgers
Green Bay Packers had one of their crazier offseasons in recent memory. The Aaron Rodgers saga is still ongoing for the Green Bay Packers. We have no idea when it’s going to end or what the outcome might be. You could tell me anything and I would probably believe it. ESPN’s Bill Barnwell ranked all of the 32 NFL teams’ offseason, he ranked the Green Bay Packers as the second-worst team in all of football. Second-worst seems harsh and a headline grabs for Barnwell. The amount of things that Green Bay did besides Rodgers is worth noting even if they did not sign a big-name free agent and had the stress of Rodgers.

As I noted in the tweet, there are things forgotten about the Packers’ offseason. They signed Kenny Clark to an extension. One of the best interior linemen in all of football. The same goes for David Bakhtiari at the left tackle position. Clark and Bakhtiari will be with the Packers for the next few years no matter what happens with Aaron Rodgers. Green Bay also brought back Aaron Jones when no one thought they would on an extremely friendly team deal. Besides Corey Linsley, Green Bay has almost their entire roster back that was a couple of snaps away from the Super Bowl.
Also to say the Packers’ situation at quarterback is worse than the Houston Texans is absolute garbage. Look at Houston right now. They’re going to be awful next year. Deshaun Watson is likely going to get suspended for the year or close to it for being a fucking pervert. They have no out now with Watson and nothing to look forward to. They signed a bunch of older free agents to help build a culture which is cool I guess. But how is that situation better than the Packers?! Please tell me.
