Still Can’t Get Over Keon Broxton’s Catch
Regardless of it being the next day, all I have thought about is Keon Broxton’s catch he made to end the baseball game on Wednesday afternoon to beat the St. Louis Cardinals, 6-5. In what was an amazing game for Milwaukee, they were able to hang on thanks in large part to Keon making the catch as a defensive replacement in centerfield. Brewers could have looked at a disaster of a week had they lost this one giving St. Louis two games whilst losing two Chicago. Brewers head into the good weekend with good vibes.

This is a great catch. I don’t know if it beats Carlos Gomez’s grab against Cincinnati when he robbed Joey Votto in the same way, but it’s way up there. He went back and made the perfect leap to pull the ball back to ensure St. Louis is not winning this game. Broxton continues to torment St. Louis.
This was a strong win for the Brewers> No Travis Shaw or Manny Pina, and they went down 2-0 earlier due to a Tommy Pham home run. Brewers came back with three straight runs off Carlos Martinez in the second then added to their lead with homers from Domingo Santana and Johnathan Villar.
We’ll see what happens with their big showdown with Washington.
